Inspired by the way light interacts with everyday items and reveals in them a multitude of unexpected, transient worlds, C.A. Richards, draws on her background in theatre to stage objects in relation to sun, shadow, and artificial light, finding drama in such disparate things as tarnished teapots and rusty chainsaw blades, or in the arrangement of simple plexiglass blocks.
